EDUCATION

A standing committee with the goal of developing and enhancing member and potential member storytelling skills by:
1. Encouraging and creating programs, internal or external.
2. Generating or recommending workshops and guides that provide knowledge of storytelling resources and traditions.
3. Developing trade-craft and technical skills.
4. Embracing ethical and legal issues by generating and recommending materials and workshops.
5. Assising members as they develop, market, and present their repertoire.

This committee works to recruit new members, retain current members, and to keep Guild members updated on new and upcoming news, workshops, training and networking opportunities
EVENTS
OPEN
This talented group creates and oversees Guild events of varying sizes and venues. We welcome those who understand what it takes to make sure the “logistics” (moving parts) of an event work out, this will be fun for you. This committee keeps everything (space, talent and guest hospitality) happen together within an allocated budget and ensure that the event itself is carried out smoothly and the audience and members have a great experience.
